Lost Weekend is a coffee shop that is owned by lawyer and environmentalist Laura Young. From that alone, you can understand already the logic behind the zero waste concept of the coffee shops. This is not easily attainable, mind you. Laura took years to perfect this. She deliberated with her friends and family members to ensure that she can make this possible. More than that, she was also very meticulous in choosing the suppliers for her coffee shops so that it is possible for her to provide only fresh and organic dishes here. She chose only local suppliers because she believes in supporting and nurturing the local economy.
When you come to this store, expect that you cannot find here any disposable materials. So, take out is definitely a no-no unless you have your own containers. That’s how strict this coffee shop is in pursuing its advocacy. Of course, we understand that not everyone can be happy with the setup and the concept of this, but we know that we have to make sacrifices for the greater good. Through the years, our patrons got used to this setup. So they make sure to bring their own containers if they want to ask for a take away from our coffee shop.
We promise you that you won’t regret coming to our place of business. It takes a little getting used to but with the kind of dishes you are going to get here, it is worth your while. You cannot find any other like us in the industry and that’s what makes us sought-after in the whole Tulsa. We never disappoint here.
In case you want to find a place to relax, find only Lost Weekend in your maps. We’ll welcome you warmly as you cross the threshold to the inside of our shop.
